I like Palmdale overall its a nice and quiet place. it is mostly friendly and there is stores everywhere you go. I like the schools here some of them are really nice and you can end up with amazing staff. It does not get too busy here and that is perfect. I would like to see changes with more activities to do out here because it does get boring but there is some really nice parks and the movies to go to.

I am very happy where I live. Palmdale has many fun parks, recreational activities, and great schooling in my experience. Though a large majority of the attractions here are limited and a bit repetitive, for a suburban city, it has a plethora of diverse and exciting food stops and restaurants ranging from Hispanic cuisine to Vietnamese cooking. The food here along with my favorite parks tie the city together, especially in the summer when the sun is blazing and you col off in a pool or your yard with sprinklers.

Palmdale is a wonderful city and has a lot to offer but is very dull when it comes to things to do. There are not a lot of activities to do here in this city which can make living here quite boring. This city does have a lot of job opportunities but you have to have connections and know people in order to get them.

It is a nice place but It's not the best for little kids. It's more fitting for somebody who had retired.

Grew up in the Antelope Valley all my life. Went to Littlerock High School. Currently attending Cal Poly Humboldt State University My social life and career will be in Palmdale and will most likely stay in this area for many many years. I love the Desert and am studying to be an Anthropologist and Archeologist so that I may be able to document the history of the Native Americans In our desert. I am truly a product of the Joshua trees.... sticking around for the long haul.

Palmdale is suburbia perfect for those looking for that middle-class vibe without the exorbitant prices. It is a city working on itself with new properties bringing in growing families. Truly a car-only city, there is very limited public transport, closing off the doors to many people who are unable to drive, such as students heading home from school. There is a lot of room for the city to grow into as evident by the many empty lots up for sale, whether commercial or residential. The shopping districts in Palmdale are usually all condensed together making trips to the stores convenient. There is always something new to eat while you're out shopping. Unfortunately, there is not much else to do besides shopping at outlets or going out to dinner. Once you've been to the one bowling alley in the city, you've pretty much run out of new and exciting things to do. With a non-existent night life, you'll find yourself driving an hour to Los Angeles to find more to do.

I’ve lived here my whole life and honestly it can feel kinda boring and dead. There are some nice spots out here but I find myself feeling more excited and free when I go outside of Palmdale such as going down to LA.

I’ve been living in Palmdale for the past two years, and I find this city very safe, lots of nature trials, shopping centers, specialty grocery shops, Boulder Ranch Community is among the best places in Palmdale

I live on the west side of Palmdale, and I like how everything is convenient. There are medical facilities, mall, grocery store and fast-food places nearby.

Palmdale has some cool aspects for example there are many food places, good school districts and the ability to have a small town vibe but with more people.

Although it can be kind of shady sometimes, run-down even, I have always enjoyed living here and the large fields of nature are always nice to walk in, the people are kind, and I've made plenty of good memories here.

I enjoy the restaurants in Palmdale. But I do believe that there could be more done to the city to enhance it.

I moved here to Palmdale in 2020. Me coming from the San Fernando Valley where there is literally EVERYTHING around you, my expectations here in Palmdale is the hope that it continues to expand tremendously with more stores, a bigger mall, more of a variety of restaurants, etc. I do love the pricing and sizing of the homes here, it's more realistically way more affordable compared to the homes we find everywhere else. The size of my home here in palmdale would be a million dollars in the San Fernando Valley for example, it's crazy. I do read and hear about the criminal activities here but I feel every city everywhere has some sort of criminal issue. Though of course more peace and love preferable, hope it gets better one day here in Palmdale and in the world in general.

My experience in Palmdale has been a kaleidoscope of unforgettable moments, each contributing to a deeper understanding of this exceptional city. The natural beauty that surrounds Palmdale, the tight-knit community spirit, and the embrace of diverse cultures make this city a unique and inspiring place to live. Palmdale is a city that is quite a ways from the city and while that would usually mean quiet, Palmdale is anything but that. There is so much criminal activity in my city but thankfully I live in the more suburban area but down the road, it definitely gets worse. The heat is also so unbearable in the summer and the cold is so freezing in the winter, there's not much the city can really do about that but I am sharing my experience. There is just not much beauty, people are always throwing trash into the desert and ruining the Joshua Trees.

Many Los Angeles gang members have moved to Palmdale and Lancaster in the past couple of decades. It is not a safe place at all anymore. Hot and windy summers and chilly winters. Major pass.

I moved to Palmdale 16 years ago. I don't see anyone talking about this, so I will! There are a lot of registered S.O.'s who reside in Antelope Valley. Another not all were released from Mira Loma Detention Center that's in Lancaster. You may see inmates shopping with correctional officers at Smart and Final in Palmdale. Or at the specialist dr offices. If you have young children or a single female. Please do your research there are S.O.'s websites you can review.

It's located in the northern Mojave desert and in the Aerospace valley. There's a lot of history here. We need more activities to do out here. I love seeing the Joshua trees and desert landscapes.
